Pleasant, lakeside campground with multiple boat ramps, fishing and shaded campsites that many visitors find peaceful. Staff are generally helpful and there is gated entry with a reservation code, although access directions and the code/reservation process can be confusing for first-time arrivals. Restrooms and showers are functional but partly dated; some loops and ramps have been damaged or closed after flooding. Expect limited cell service. Mixed reports note occasional litter and noisy groups after quiet hours, so bring essentials (soap, trash bags) and be prepared for variable site conditions.
