What campers say
Gunn Park offers a large, well-maintained green space with walking and bike trails, multiple playgrounds, picnic shelters, murals, a dog park and ponds and lakes for fishing (one lake is stocked with trout). The small campground tends to favor RVs—many sites have water and 50-amp service (30-amp campers may need an adapter)—and showers are available and typically clean. Practical tradeoffs include uneven, hilly or sometimes shared sites, rough asphalt in places, and occasional check-in or shower-lock hiccups. Overall it’s a calm, family-friendly spot good for short stays or overnight stops.
