What campers say

Small, quiet state forest campground with wooded, large sites and very close access to the Jordan River—popular for kayaking, canoeing and trout fishing. Sites offer basic amenities (fire rings, lantern posts) with limited water and vault toilets; the river launch is convenient for paddlers. The Jordan is natural and can be debris-filled, so paddlers should have some experience and tubing is not advised. The access road can be tight for longer campers and some highway noise from M-66 may be noticeable. Expect mosquitoes and abundant poison ivy in places; pack repellent and take care with plant contact.
