What campers say

Goodale Creek Campground is a low-cost BLM site just off Highway 395 offering striking eastern Sierra views and a small creek that runs through the loop. Visitors praise the friendly camp host, clean vault toilets, spacious sites with picnic tables, fire rings and some shade from planted trees. It's primitive, dry camping (reported nightly fees around $5–$8) with no hookups or showers, so bring drinking water. The setting is quiet and good for stargazing, hiking and limited creek fishing; some sites can accommodate larger rigs (around 25 ft). Expect a remote, basic but scenic experience.
