What campers say

Small, budget-friendly campground in Big Pine with direct views of the eastern Sierra. Sites are generally tight and close together, more suited to RVs than tents; a limited number of electrical sites fill quickly and some spots appear occupied long-term. Fees are modest (around $20–$25; dry camping cheaper); there’s water and token-paid showers with timed hot water but no sewer dump or laundry. Hosts are sometimes helpful though not always on-site. Expect highway noise, occasional pests or clutter at individual sites, and a mix of clean and neglected facilities—tradeoffs that may be acceptable for the location and price.
