What campers say
Goldfield Ghost Town offers a family-friendly, recreated Old West setting with shops, a mystery/illusion house, guided mine tours, a short train ride and occasional ghost tours. Guides and staff are frequently described as knowledgeable, theatrical, and welcoming, and parking and general admission to wander are free. Many visitors enjoy the mine tour, train and scenic views of the Superstition Mountains. Tradeoffs: the site is largely a rebuilt tourist attraction rather than an original ghost town, can be crowded, and food/pricing drew mixed reactions; some attractions are brief. Best as a pleasant stop for a few hours while exploring the area.
