What campers say
Well-run, wooded KOA a short drive from Gettysburg National Military Park. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, and sites include shaded pull-through and patio options that make setup easy. The campground is clean, with picnic tables, fire pits, a modest pool, and a reasonably stocked camp store. Practical tradeoffs: several visitors note coarse gravel throughout (including in the dog area), which can be hard on dogs' paws and uneven for walking, and bathrooms have needed moisture-related repairs and occasional limited availability during cleaning. Overall a convenient, family-friendly base for exploring the battlefield.
