For the price this is the best deal in the Gettysburg area. That price by the way is the Passport America rate of $29 per night Sunday thru Thursday... otherwise the park, and this area in general, is way overpriced. The sites are gravel, grass, and weeds but everything is green and scenic so no real deduction there. the park is huge with seasonal, short term, and horse campers. The pool is small but clean and comfortable. The playground is dated but functional. Verizon 4G was great and you are within biking distance of the visitor center and NPS roads.

What campers say
Artillery Ridge Campground sits adjacent to Gettysburg National Military Park, so battlefield access is very quick. The park is family- and pet-friendly, with a large, clean pool, a pond popular with children, a small store that rents fishing gear and basic supplies, and on-site laundry. Sites include pull-through gravel pads and cabin options, offering good spacing, though some pads are uneven and a few seasonal lots appear crowded. Staff are generally described as helpful and value is good. Be aware of occasional campground noise from events or nearby animals, and limited services or icy roads have been reported in winter months.

A bit rustic as it could use some spiffing up. However, sites are mostly level and all the utilities work good. Very close to the Gettysburg Visitor Center and battlefield. I would give this park a 7 out of 10.
