Fishermen's Bend is a riverside recreation area with a boat ramp, walking trails and river access. The park was heavily affected by the 2020 wildfires and has only partially reopened — much of it is day use, though campsites, a reservable group site and a couple of small cabins are available. Facilities include flush restrooms, free hot showers, water stations and picnic/pavilion areas; staff are generally described as helpful. Expect tradeoffs: some sites are compact and not ideal for large RVs, shade is variable, vegetation is recovering, and recent reports of large‑cat sign suggest exercising caution with children and pets.
