It is San Francisco and it was the Super Bowl weekend so they had us by the collar. $99 per night for 2 of us is just insane for a parking spot on blacktop. One time deal would never stay again. Verizon was great.

What campers say
Candlestick RV Park is frequently described as overcrowded and populated by long‑term residents, with very tight sites where slideouts and vehicles can end up inches apart. Guests report a rundown, noisy and sometimes littered environment; the perimeter gate is not always closed and Wi‑Fi can be unreliable. Staff are occasionally helpful and bathrooms have been described as acceptable, but nightly rates reported in reviews (roughly $100–$150) feel high for the condition. The main tradeoff is proximity to San Francisco; if you need closer access, factor the crowded, residential atmosphere and consider alternatives.

Good shuttle bus into town from the paved lot near the stadium. We took in a ballgame which was nice to walk to from home away from home. Not cheap as we paid almost $60 per night but pretty much the closest full hookup park on the peninsula.
