What campers say
This small, family-run campground is generally well kept and peaceful, with clean bathrooms and hot showers, a small camp store stocked with basics, and on-site laundry. Many sites sit along the river and the property operates a canoe/kayak livery and river floats, so it’s good for paddling, fishing and birdwatching. There’s a playground for kids and both tent and RV spaces are available, plus rental cabins. Staff are described as friendly and helpful, and the park tends to quiet down at night. In warm weather expect mosquitoes and consider protecting wood bundles from rain.
