Emily Lake State Forest Campground is a small, rustic site with about nine to ten campsites and a quiet, secluded lakeside setting. Amenities are basic but well kept: vault toilets, a hand-pump water source, picnic tables, and a boat launch with a dock and parking area. Many visitors note good fishing (bass, perch, bluegill, trout) and excellent stargazing. Sites cluster near the launch and are fairly close together, though two sites farther down offer more privacy and lake views. It's first-come, first-served with no reservations; expect primitive conditions rather than full-service facilities.
