📖 About This Campground
Atlantic City Campground near Atlantic City Wyoming (Lander area) is a BLM managed campground offering 18 primitive tent and RV camping sites in a wooded setting. Reasonable fees sites are a mix if pull thrus and backins. A historically significant location this pass was used by early settlers and later miners to help build the country. Enjoy exploring the region on ATVs or in off-road 4x4 capable vehicles.
Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. pit toilets also available. Water is available.
Mining still takes place in this area. Atlantic City โ The town's name refers to its location on the Atlantic side of the Continental Divide. Long-abandoned gold mines dot the hillsides above the town. Located three miles from Hwy. 28 on the Atlantic City Road, the town still has a few commercial establishments, some of which date back to the gold rush era.
