Louis Lake Campground, situated within the Shoshone National Forest near Lander, Wyoming, offers a serene retreat for campers seeking a natural setting by the water. Located at an elevation of approximately 8,600 feet, the campground provides picturesque views of Louis Lake and the surrounding forested landscape. Amenities and Features:

• Campsites: The campground features nine single-unit sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Please note that there are no electrical hookups available.
• Facilities: Amenities include vault toilets and bear-proof storage containers at each site. Potable water is not available on-site; campers should bring their own water supply.

  • Boating: The nearby Louis Lake Boating and Picnic Site offers a boat ramp, allowing for non-motorized boating activities such as canoeing and kayaking.
