What campers say

Ambrose A. Call State Park is a small, wooded, and peaceful park with short, well-kept trails and a disc-golf course woven through the woods. The campground offers shaded sites and 30-amp electrical hookups, making it suitable for tenters and small trailers; several sites are tight and may be difficult for larger rigs. Amenities are basic: a picnic shelter, historic log cabin and lodge add character, while restrooms are vault/pit style and there is no on-site dump station. Overall it’s a compact, scenic spot for short stays and a nature break rather than full-service camping.
