What campers say

Thorpe Park is a small, well-kept lakeside property tucked among trees and noted for calm water and good bass fishing. Visitors commonly praise its peaceful, clean setting and a single rentable cabin that reportedly sleeps about six and includes air conditioning, kitchen, bathroom/shower, a private aluminum dock and—at the time reviewed—an affordable nightly rate near $50. Practical notes: some campsites may not have permanent fire rings, so plan for that, though the cabin is described as having a large fire pit with available wood. Online photos emphasize RV camping, but tents have been accommodated.
