Park Description

Point Beach State Forest, located near Two Rivers, Wisconsin, is a 2,903-acre state forest offering a diverse range of recreational activities along six miles of Lake Michigan shoreline.

Accommodations:

  • Family Campground: The forest features 127 family campsites, with 70 offering electrical hookups. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Reservations can be made online.
  • Group Cabins: Two large group cabins are available for reservation, accommodating larger parties.
  • Outdoor Group Camp: An outdoor group camp is also available for organized groups.

Amenities:

  • Rawley Point Lighthouse: Established in 1853, this lighthouse is a notable feature within the forest.
  • Nature Center: The forest includes a nature center offering educational exhibits and programs.
  • Shelters: Several picnic areas and shelters are available for visitors.

Recreational Activities:

  • Hiking and Biking Trails: The forest offers multiple trails, including the Rawley Point Trail, which is part of the Ice Age Trail, providing opportunities for hiking and biking.
