Small, quiet RV park adjacent to the Animas River and within easy walking distance of Aztec Ruins National Monument. Most sites offer full hookups (30/50 amp), gravel pads and scattered shade trees; a few riverfront sites are more primitive. Campground is tidy, often home to long‑term residents, and has dog‑walking areas and a consistently clean porta‑potty. Staff and the owner are described as friendly and accommodating. Practical tradeoffs include limited on‑site facilities (no showers), some uneven or narrow gravel sites, and cash or check payment only. Good low‑key base for exploring Aztec and nearby Farmington.
