Powder Mill Campground is a small, primitive riverside site on the Current River with about eight grassy campsites, each offering a picnic table, fire ring, and a pole for hanging lanterns. Vault/drop toilets are nearby. It provides easy river access, a gravel bar and clear water for family-friendly day use, but sites offer limited shade and the river valley can be windy. Fees are low and sometimes waived off-season. Recent floods have left the Blue Spring trail washed out and caused damage to facilities; occasional ticks and signs of building mold have been reported, so plan accordingly.
