What campers say

Yellow Pine Campground is a small, low-key spot in the Laramie highlands with roughly 15–19 first-come, first-served sites. Campsites are well separated and many include fire rings, grills and picnic tables; clean vault toilets are provided but there’s no water or electrical hookups. It’s inexpensive and easy to reach (about 15 minutes to Laramie for supplies), offers open aspen/pine scenery and good stargazing, and can accommodate several larger RVs. Expect some county-road noise, occasional windy exposure, and wildlife—visitors have reported cattle and black bears in the area.
