Wind Point Park is a scenic, privately run lakeside campground with attractive waterfront RV sites, well-equipped cabins (kitchen and TV), plentiful wildlife, fishing, and evening fire pits. Many guests praise the clean, maintained grounds and helpful long-time staff, and golf carts are available to rent. However, reviews also note tradeoffs: some waterfront sites are close together, the swim entry is stepped and can be deep for small children, and interior sites are mostly gravel. Several visitors reported inconsistent or slow office service, occasional booking/payment hiccups, ant problems, and limited options for fencing or grassy pet areas.
