The four stars for this park is primarily based upon its location alone. It is right on the river and located along the multi-use path just down the street from Carrier Park. There is a constant hum of freeway traffic noise and the occasional trucker jake brake use. The owner is very difficult to reach and if you do reach him very difficult to talk to; just his personality I think. He over-charged our credit card by $24 for our stay and I have been unable to reach him by phone so have been forced to challenge the charge with my credit card company. Verizon cell and data service with 4G is solid and easy access to the area makes this park a decent destination.

What campers say
Wilson's Riverfront RV Park is a small, family-run park with concrete, wide, level sites and full hookups (50A, water, sewer) and convenient access to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore, and a riverside greenway. Guests commonly praise river views, wildlife and updated electrical and decent Wi‑Fi. Tradeoffs include constant highway noise and occasional truck air‑brake sounds, limited on-site amenities since a storm (no bathhouse reported by some), and a public walking/biking path through the park. Service is generally described as responsive and check-in easy, though a few guests noted sewer odors, site maintenance, and unclear arrival procedures.
