What campers say
Webber Lake Campground is a tucked away, scenic site with pleasant campsites, a shallow lake good for paddleboarding, fishing and nearby hikes. Camp hosts are frequently described as friendly and the vault toilets are noted as exceptionally clean and well maintained, though pit facilities can sometimes smell. Expect mosquitoes in warmer months and bring ample bug repellent; water shoes help with the muddy lake bottom. The area is somewhat remote (Sierraville is about 20-25 minutes away), and a few guests mentioned occasional conflicts involving pets or staff enforcement, so plan accordingly.
