Waterways Campground is a tidy, well-maintained small campground on the Cheboygan waterway. Reviewers consistently praise very clean restrooms and showers, friendly, hands-on owners (and their dogs), and a family- and dog-friendly atmosphere. Sites are generally level with picnic tables and fire pits, with boat launch and dock access making it a good base for fishing and boating; weekday fishing is quieter than weekends.
