What campers say
Small, rustic state-forest campground on Twin Lakes with a limited number of wooded sites suitable for tents and small trailers. The site is quiet and secluded—many visitors highlight paddling, fishing and frequent loon sightings on calm, no-wake waters. Amenities are basic: clean vault/pit toilets and a hand-pump well; boat access is carry-in via a set of stairs to a dock, and a formal ramp is a couple miles away. Note there’s no sandy beach and some shallow or weedy shoreline has been reported. Occasional noise issues have been rare and generally addressed by staff.
