What campers say

Up the Creek Campground is a small, tent-focused site within walking distance of downtown Moab. Guests report friendly hosts, straightforward self-check-in (Venmo/envelope), and well-maintained bathrooms, hot showers, and a dishwashing area with supplies. Sites are level with shade and carts available for gear, and there’s a small dog area and convenient access to trails and nearby stores. Tradeoffs include closely spaced, basic tent pads without fire rings or driveways, occasional reservation mixups, and frequent town noise (trucks, garbage collection, school bells); some visitors also reported seasonal insect issues. Good budget option if you prioritize location and clean facilities.
