Small, basic state campground in the Ukiah‑Dale corridor with scenic ponderosa pines and Camas Creek. Sites are generally clean and uncrowded, with picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, and flush toilets—hosts are often described as friendly. Expect a more primitive setup: no electrical or sewer hookups and some sites are compact, so trailers over ~20 ft. or large Class A RVs may fit poorly. Highway 395 is nearby, so daytime truck noise can be noticeable though it quiets at night. Low fees and easy payment options make it a convenient, affordable stop for tents, vans, and smaller RVs.
