📖 About This Campground
Trailhead Campground in Coal Township Pennsylvania (near Shamokin) provides primitive tent and RV camping adjacent to the AOAA off-road trails. A popular destination for motorcycle, ATV, and UTV riders this new campground opened in 2017 with plans for continuous additions and improvements over the next couple years. In the short term the facilities are primitive with no onsite amenities but allow guests to ride the trails direct from camp.
As of 2017 AOAA Trailhead Campground only facilities are portable toilets, hand wash stations and drinking water tanks.
Large RV sites rent for $30 nightly or $1,250 seasonally. Tent sites rent for $20 per night.
