Tourist Park in Marquette offers a convenient in-town campground with mature trees, large sites and easy access to paved bike trails, beaches and town amenities. Staff are friendly and facilities are kept clean; family showers and full plumbing are available. Sites vary: some have full hookups while others are electric-only or lack water/sewer, with a dump station on site. Nighttime freight train noise can disturb tent sleepers, and the number of showers/toilets can feel limited during busy periods. Wi-Fi is generally only near the office. Overall a good, affordable base for exploring Marquette.
