Excellent campground except a lot of sites are not level, and a few folks had a hard time leveling. Other than that excellent.

What campers say
Rippling River Resort sits just outside Marquette with a gentle stream running through the property, easy access to downtown attractions, trails, and nearby cliff‑jumping. Guests praise clean bathrooms and shower rooms, friendly and responsive staff, well‑kept luxury cabins, and amenities like a pool, hot tub, riverside bar/store with pizza, live music and dog‑friendly spaces. Tradeoffs include some small, closely spaced campsites (the upper loop is noted as more private), occasional inconsistency in office service and food hours, and limited cabin air conditioning reported by some visitors. Overall it’s convenient and scenic with strong on‑site amenities but occasional variability.

📖 About This Campground
⭐ 2 Reviews⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0
The new campground is called Rippling River Resort and its grand opening was June 7, according to ABC 10. The owners invited the public to come and check out the new 37-acre resort which is located right on the Carp River. The campground accommodates to every type of camper and features rustic tent locations to luxury cabins. Owner Mark Curran said his goal was to make it a relaxing place for any guest who wants to come camping in the Upper Peninsula. “We have huge RVs and motor homes in there, and then we have the smallest tent and pop-ups,” said Curran. “So, we can accommodate anybody’s camping needs and that’s what we want. We just want people to come out in the woods, relax and rejuvenate.”
