Camped here for 8 days in October 2017. One of the best campgrounds I found in the state. Nice pull thru sites for any size RV and very good back in sites. The sites are far apart with plenty of privacy. 50 and 30 amp service and water. Great WIFi. Very clean bathrooms and showers being installed next season. Friendly staff comes by daily.

Torch Lake Campground & RV Park is a quiet, well-maintained spot with large, private campsites suited to both tents and RVs. Sites are level gravel pads with grassy yards and include electric and water at each site; some sites also offer sewer hookups. The grounds and roads are paved, and a short paved path leads to a sandy-bottom Torch Lake beach. Shower and restroom buildings are clean and roomy, though a few guests mentioned wanting more hooks in the showers. Hosts are consistently described as friendly and helpful; Wi-Fi and onsite firewood add convenience.

Torch Lake Campground & RV Park near Conover Wisconsin is a new (as of 2017) publicly owned campground developed and maintained by Vilas County. Offering 20 partial hookup (water and electric) RV and tent sites each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Torch Lake Campground & RV Park has direct access to the Vilas County ATV trail system, and is a short walk from Torch Lake Beach. Each site is massive in size with the shortest being over 80' long. Set in a wooded setting the nightly rate is $35 PLUS a $10 advanced reservation fee. A dump station is available as is a restroom.
