Tamarack Springs Campground in Conover is a rider-focused, well-maintained spot known for excellent OHV/dirt-bike trails and clean, rustic campsites. The trail system is clearly marked with green, blue and challenging black routes—single-track and technical sections appeal to a wide range of abilities, and many riders use it for day trips. Campsites are wooded, roomy for rigs and trailers, and include fire rings; restrooms are reported clean and there are manual water pumps, a pavilion and a loading ramp. There are no electrical hookups; the atmosphere is generally quiet and friendly, though occasional ants have been mentioned.

Tamarack Springs Campground near Conover Wisconsin offers 9 primitive campsites, with the Campground Host occupying one site. Each campsite includes a fire ring with attached grill, and a picnic table. Most campites are located on the east side of Tamarack Creek, which runs north to south through the campground. Campsites #7, #8, & #9 are located on the west side of the Creek, near the picnic area. The picnic area contains 3 picnic tables and cooking grills. A hand pump for fresh water is located between campsites #1 & #2. Scenic Tamarack Creek runs through the campground, providing fishing opportunities. There are latrines located on either side of Tamarack Creek. This Campground has direct access to the Vilas County ATV trail system.
