Torch Grove Camp Ground is popular for its immediate proximity to Torch Lake and its clear, striking water. Many guests praise the friendly, hands-on owners and overall cleanliness, including functioning shower facilities with hot water, available firewood and ice. The park has roomy sites (many seasonal) and a small number of transient sites, so space and shared facilities can feel limited; one bathhouse is located toward the front of the long layout. Several visitors report inconsistent reservation communication, so call early and expect to confirm. Limited public lake access and no public beach are further trade-offs to consider.
