What campers say

Tongue River Reservoir State Park offers a scenic, well-maintained lakeside campground with many sites providing easy water access and electric hookups (some 50‑amp sites). The marina store and on-site services are regularly praised for being stocked and friendly, and facilities include restrooms, trash, a dump station and fish-cleaning stations; fresh water and public showers may be limited. Sites are spread out and generally quiet, making it good for boating and camping. Fishing reports are mixed, with some visitors enjoying shore and boat fishing while others note declines. There are occasional reports of visitor–staff communication issues.
