Timber Trails Campground is a well-kept, wooded park conveniently just off I-70 yet generally peaceful. The grounds are clean and maintained; the property features many seasonal/permanent setups and only a handful of transient sites. Large, level pull-throughs, a pool, playgrounds, small lakes and walking areas make it family friendly. Most overnight sites provide water and electric but sewer hookups are limited; a dump station is available. Bathhouse cleanliness and a quirk with some showers have been noted. Office signage can be hard to spot, and distant train horns are occasionally audible. Staff are reported as friendly and helpful.
