This is a favorite of ours. We have stayed here multiple times and love it. Our kids love the playground, the beach, morning donuts (not during COVID of course). They have a very friendly staff and they take excellent care of the property.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and the gated property feels secure. On‑site amenities include a beach, playground, kayak access, and laundries that take cards or apps, making it family‑ and pet‑friendly. The location offers easy bike or short drives to downtown Grapevine and Fort Worth attractions. Practical tradeoffs: rates tend to be on the higher side, some sites report hard water, and aircraft noise can be noticeable on portions of the property depending on site location.
