What campers say
Texhoma Park in Dumas is a tidy, well‑maintained city park popular with RVers as a free overnight layover. It offers multiple 30/50A electric pedestals, a central dump and a water spigot, plus restrooms, a playground, picnic shelter and a fenced dog area. Sites are first‑come and donations are encouraged to support upkeep. The lot is big‑rig friendly when not full and receives periodic police patrols. Tradeoffs: it sits near an active railroad and a highway overpass, so you may hear trains, and pedestal spots generally lack individual water/sewer hookups.
