What campers say

Texas Springs Campground offers affordable, centrally located dry camping with picnic tables, fire rings and maintained restrooms with flush toilets and dishwashing sinks. There are no showers, electrical hookups or generator use, and sites are first-come so it can fill early. Expect hard-packed ground and frequent strong winds—bring heavy stakes and secure tents against blowing sand. Sites are fairly close together and noise can carry, though hosts are friendly. Great elevated views and dark skies for stargazing. Cell service is limited. Occasional scorpion sightings have been reported, so take normal caution.
