Stony Haven Campground & Cabins is a family-run, wooded campground near Stony Lake and a short drive to Lake Michigan. Guests commonly praise the peaceful, kid-friendly atmosphere, friendly hosts, clean restrooms and generally warm showers. Sites, cabins and full-hookup RV spots are available; many are shaded dirt/gravel sites that feel rustic and can get very dark at night. Recreational options include a playground, bikes, tubing and kayak rentals with creek access. Expect a homey, relaxed stay; note rules prohibit smoking/alcohol and some guests reported pond algae and steep gravel roads that can make bike riding challenging.
