Stone State Park offers striking overlooks, diverse hiking and equestrian trails, and peaceful pond and wildlife viewing — a scenic spot popular with families and photographers. Trails are generally well maintained, though a few segments can be narrow or bushy. The small campground provides basic facilities: flush toilets and showers at an uphill comfort station, about a dozen electric sites, but narrow sites with limited privacy, no on-site dump station, and occasional runoff or wet spots reported at some sites.
