What campers say

Stateline Campground is a basic, free roadside campground popular as a base for the Arizona Trail, Wire Pass/Buckskin Gulch and the Wave area. Sites largely include covered picnic shelters and fire rings; pit/vault toilets are provided and generally reported as maintained. There is no water or electricity—bring your own supplies (water can be filled at the Paria contact station about 30 minutes away). The access road (House Rock Valley Rd) can be rough or muddy, and cell service is spotty near the entrance. Nights are very dark for excellent stargazing; weekends tend to be busier than weekdays.
