Spider Creek Resort sits right on the river with strong views and peaceful surroundings, making it popular for fishing, kayaking and family getaways. The cabins are roomy, cozy and include full kitchens, decks and communal amenities like a pavilion, games and a hot tub (occasionally unavailable). Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Expect basic, somewhat dated accommodations — most guests find units clean and well-equipped, though a few have reported pest or cleaning issues and some worn furnishings. River access is excellent for wading or paddling but not ideal for swimming; water shoes are recommended for the rocky bottom.
