Skillet Creek Campground is a clean, family-oriented spot just minutes from Devil’s Lake, offering a variety of amenities — a swimming and fishing pond, a small beach, playground, game room/arcade, pedal cars and a fenced dog area. Sites include electric tent spots and RV hookups; showers and bathrooms are generally well maintained and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. New ownership has made visible upgrades. Practical tradeoffs: some guests have reported inconsistent quiet-hour enforcement and reduced weekday services (canteen closed), and a few mentioned cabin mattress comfort and intermittent Wi‑Fi issues. Overall a convenient, activity-rich choice for families and lake visitors.

The park has plenty of space between sites along with mowed grass. A small pond on site the park can accommodate bigger RVs but not big rigs. Nestled in 70 acres surrounded by the Baraboo, Wisconsin hills, Skillet Creek Campground offers a serene setting for your next camping trip. Located one mile from Devil's Lake State Park, this campground lets you enjoy hiking, rock climbing, swimming, biking, fishing, boating or just a relaxing afternoon at the beach. A new 1 acre swimming pond is ready for the 2023 season! 24 new seasonal sites with 50 amp and full hook up are also available. Email us today to inquire about becoming a seasonal camper.
