Cabins are generally clean and functional, staff are repeatedly described as friendly and helpful, and the site offers lake access, a fishing dock, swimming area, playground, kayak rentals and an event pavilion. Laundry and nearby convenience stores add practicality, and the park is pet‑friendly. Practical tradeoffs: some cabins can feel dated or need minor upkeep, linens and basic supplies (towels, soap) are not always provided, and rooms may run warm in Texas heat. Nights are typically quiet.
