Very rude staff and didn't refund our money after they double booked one of our sites. I booked 2 sites for a holiday weekend and was required to book both sites for 3 nights. My friends had to leave after the 2nd night, they packed up and the site was empty but they made me pay for the 3rd night ahead of time. When we got back from the pool, the site that I paid was occupied by another camper. I went to the office to get a refund for that site since they double booked it. The staff was very rude and told me no, that is company policy, but they got double the revenue for the same site. It was their error and they didn't have the decency to refund the money. I will never stay here again and deal with this horrible customer service.

What campers say
Shenandoah Valley Campground is a family- and pet-friendly spot built around a scenic river and waterfall, with tame rabbits that many guests enjoy. Amenities often praised include a heated pool, hot tubs, stocked fishing pond, mini golf, cabin/RV rentals, and an on-site store; some sites offer electric, water and cable and pull-thru options. Practical tradeoffs: sites can be close together, some lack sewer so guests use the dump station, and access roads are described as narrow and winding. Golf cart policies have caused confusion and quiet-hour enforcement appears inconsistent. Overall, a welcoming, activity-rich campground for families who plan accordingly.
