What campers say
Shady Rest RV Park is a small, no-frills RV park in Glasgow that makes a convenient overnight or en-route stop to Glacier National Park. Sites are shaded, generally clean, and many offer full hookups (30/50 amp); some back up to a city park. The layout and roads are older, with gravel that can be muddy after floods, and the park has ongoing remediation in spots. Expect basic amenities (bathrooms, laundry) rather than resort features. Staff and owners are frequently described as friendly and helpful; however, there are occasional reports of unfriendly interactions and some long-term sites appearing untidy. Electrical posts have also been noted as temperamental.
