What campers say

The campground sits near Fort Peck Dam and offers scenic lake, river and prairie views with paved walking and bike trails. Sites are roomy and well spaced for RVs and tents; electric (30‑amp) hookups are provided, with water fill stations and a double‑lane dump. Shower houses and vault toilets are onsite, and staff are friendly and helpful. Wildlife such as deer is commonly seen. Practical tradeoffs include no 50‑amp or full hookups, occasional crowding and limited site privacy at busy times, and the nearest stores or gas stations are roughly 15–30 miles away.
