Shady Oaks is a small, family-run park with friendly, attentive owners and a close-knit feel. Sites are generally level, spacious and shady under large oaks, with full hookups and cable; the sandy/grass lots drain well in heavy rain. On-site amenities include a clean laundry, a stocked store, free ice, a pub/game room and a pool (occasionally closed for work and not heated). Many guests appreciate the upkeep and community atmosphere, while a limited or spotty Wi‑Fi signal and the park’s modest size (with mobile homes toward the back) are practical tradeoffs. Basic services are nearby, but some attractions require a drive.
