What campers say
Saratoga Lake Campground is a simple, budget-friendly lakeside park just outside Saratoga, WY, convenient for the town, nearby free hot springs and Medicine Bow National Forest. Sites are mostly gravel with picnic tables, fire rings and vault toilets; electric hookups are available for a modest fee and payment is via honor-system envelopes. There is no potable water on-site, though a dump station is nearby (fee). Visitors praise easy lake and dock access, quiet nights and good cell signal, but caution about mosquitoes at dusk, limited shade, and basic upkeep—sites can feel close together and vegetation control varies.
