Sangchris Lake State Park offers a quiet, well-kept camping experience with many water-side, level, and well-spaced sites suitable for small families and larger rigs. Anglers will appreciate expanded shore-fishing areas and regular catches from the lake. Sites commonly provide 30-amp electrical hookups, a potable water pump, and a dump station; vault toilets are common and a shower house is available in the Hickory Point campground. Park staff and rangers are described as friendly and helpful. Trails are generally short and scenic but can have occasional fallen branches, and cell signal may be weak in parts of the park.
